Materials new to the page are highlighted in yellow.

Welcome to the University of Nebraska Wheat Production Systems Home Page. This site includes the latest extension information on wheat production from the University of Nebraska. Where appropriate, we have supplemented University of Nebraska information with that of other land-grant universities and the private sector.

We have arranged this site in a logical sequence that makes it a ready reference for your practical production questions on wheat -- from choosing a variety and fertilizer program to controlling weeds to marketing the crop. We are continually developing new information on wheat and we will update this site as new information becomes available. We want to bring you the most profitable recommendations, and help you to focus on management practices to help cut costs and make wheat production systems more sustainable. Any suggestions you have to improve this site will be welcome.
